One Voice is a powerful, pro-community campaign spearheaded by the Economic Development Council of the Bloomington-Normal Area (EDC). The goals of this campaign are straightforward: to make McLean County a stronger economic force and a better place to live.
One Voice campaign efforts will show our state and federal governments that we stand united… that we are a community focused on improvement and a community with many projects worthy of funding. The One Voice Task Force has recognized several important projects that are crucial to the long-term economic development of our community. |

The City of Lexington, population 1,920, is the largest community without a wastewater collection and treatment system in the state of Illinois. A wastewater system will give the community a better advantage in attracting new businesses, while funding will enable the community to maintain a competitive cost of living.
